Iceberg lettuce - prices strongly increased

Last days prices of imported Iceberg lettuce increased considerably. Last week the price of this lettuce imported from Spain was 2.40 PLN (0.59 €)/pcs., while on Monday, February 8  its price increased to 5 PLN (1.22 €)/pcs.

Such big price increase was a surprise even for traders. It is probably a result from a surge in demand for this type of lettuce. If this demand continues, import will probably increase.
