Import of carrots in 2008

According to preliminary data of Polish Analytical Centre of Customs Administration (CCAC) in 2008 Poland imported 39.1 thousand t of carrot at value 12.6 million euro.

As compared to 2007 the import increased by 40 % and its value was twice higher. From the Netherlands, our the biggest supplier, the import amounted to 18.4 thousand t at value 4.3 million euro, from France - 6.2 thousand t at value 2.5 million euro and from Italy 5.5 thousand t at value 2.7 million euro.
