Import of sweet peppers

In 2007 Poland bought 22.9 thousand ton of sweet peppers valued at 36.9 million EUR. Over 60 % of imported sweet peppers was from Spain. Import from Spain amounted to 13.9 thousand ton valued at 22.9 million EUR.

The Netherlands was the second biggest supplier (26 %) of sweet peppers and import form this country amounted to 6 thousand ton valued at 10.3 million EUR. Only 1 % was import from Hungary (328 ton valued at 154 thousand ton).
