Import – Vegetables were selling better rather than fruits

This year’s Easter time, if we are talking about imported market of fruits and vegetables – irrevocably belongs to vegetables. There were no problems with selling imported pepper, broccoli or lettuces.

Despite high prices demand was good. Other situation was with fruits. Customers interest for different types of fruits like mandarins, oranges or bananas was so low. Supply for fruits was very high, the more Spanish exporters wanted to sell as much as that had before Easter holidays. We can suppose that this situation can be reflected in changes of imported fruit prices after Easter holidays.
