Imported peaches and nectarines cheaper than domestic

Prices of peaches and nectarines imported from Spain decreased to the level where they can compete with Polish fruit, which are already available on the wholesale markets.

Relatively low price and high quality of imported peaches and nectarines caused that the demand is still high. Currently, the price of peaches is from 3.60 (0.91 €) to 3.80 PLN (0.96 €)/kg and price of nectarines from 3.80 (0.96 €) to 4.20 (1.06 €) PLN/kg.

Price of Polish peaches is from 3.50 (0.88 €) to 5.00 PLN (1.26 €)/kg.
