Increase in Chinese cabbage's price

On Wednesday, December 21, prices of Chinese cabbage were by  0.10 PLN (0.023 euro)/kg higher than at the time when one could see the first signs of growth in demand. Producer prices of cabbage reached 1.00 - 1.05 PLN (0.23-0.24 euro)/kg. Further increase in prices is expected. It can be also caused by problems with quality of Chinese cabbage - tipburn and affected by aphids. Such cabbage is not suitable for export. Producers who have a good quality Chinese cabbage keep it in the cold stores, waiting for a significant price increase.
