Increase in prices of imported onion

After calm period during holidays one can observe bigger movement on the vegetable market. On the market there are already available imported vegetables from new deliveries. As regards imported onion, its price are higher than in December and at the begging of January. While the price of Dutch onion was 1.40-1.50 PLN (0.36-0.39 euro)/kg last week, this week the price is 1.50-1.60 PLN (0.39-0.41 euro)/kg for size 4-6 and 1.80 PLN (0.47 euro)/kg for size 6-8.
