Low demand for domestic onion

Export of Polish onion to Russia or Ukraine as well as to Czech and Slovakia is at the low level. As a result producers have to sell the product on domestic market.  Prices of onion remain stable. In pomorskie and kujawsko-pomorskie provinces the supply of onion is higher and prices start from 1.00 PLN (1.04 euro)/kg. In other regions of Poland prices are higher – 1.20-1.40 PLN (0.30-0.35 euro)/kg.
