Low prices of plums

As a result there is oversupply of apples and plums and in consequence prices are low. Only few companies are purchasing fruit for export. Near Grójec producer price of plums varieties Valor and Empress is 1.20-1.30 PLN (0.29-0.31 euro)/kg for size 35+ and 1.30-1.50 PLN (0.31-0.36 euro)/kg for size 40+. Near Sandomierz price of plums 40+ is 1.20-1.30 PLN (0.29-0.31 euro)/kg.
Prices of plums for processing are following: 0.70-0.80 PLN (0.17-0.19 euro)/kg near Grójec and 0.50-0.60 PLN (0.12-0.14 euro)/kg near Sandomierz.
