Low supply of root vegetables and brassicas

The stocks of root vegetables and brassicas are slowly ending. The wholesale trade in red cabbage has already finished. Its price in the first week of May reached even 1.60 PLN (0.38 €)/kg for good quality cabbage.

The supply of celeriac is also low. On Friday, May 7, the price of washed celeriac reached even 3.00 PLN (0.72 €)/kg. Stocks of parsley is also low. Prices of this vegetable have been high all the season. On Friday, price of washed parsley ranged from 5.00 to 6.00 PLN (1.20-1.43 €)/kg depending on the quality and the region of Poland.

Price of beets remains stable. On Friday, their price was 0.60 - 0.80 PLN (0.14-0.19 €)/kg depending on their quality and region.
