Lower demand for cultivated mushrooms

The spring time is time for early vegetables. Consumers prefer young vegetables and the demand for cultivated mushrooms is decreasing. Decline in demand caused fall in prices. This week prices of mushrooms have decreased in many regions.

In Małopolska region price is lower by 0.70 PLN in comparison with last week and is 4.30 PLN/kg. In Podkarpacie region price has decreased from 4.50-4.70 PLN/kg last week to 4.50 PLN/kg and in the region of Białystok price has decreased from 4.80 to 4.75 PLN/kg.
