Lower import of processed vegetables

According to Polish Analytical Centre of Custom Administration (CAAC) in November 2008 import of processed vegetables amounted to 11.3 thousand t, i.e. by about 33 % less than in November 2007.

The value of this import was 11 million euro. Decrease in import mainly was a result of lower import of frozen vegetables, which decreased by 38 % to 2.1 thousand t. Import of dried vegetables decreased by 60 % to 400 t, pickles by 25 % to 1 thousand t and vegetable preserves by 12 % to 3.3 thousand t.
