Lower prices of sweet peppers for processing

Prices of red sweet peppers (without stem, calyx and seeds) for processing are lower than last year. At present in purchasing centres price of red sweet peppers is 0.51-0.53 EUR/kg, and last year the average price was 0.56 EUR/kg.

The average price of green sweet peppers is 0.32 EUR/kg, while last year price was 0.39 EUR/kg. The price of mix of different colours sweet peppers so called mélange is about 0.35 EUR/kg, while last the price was 0.46 EUR/kg.
