Lower supply of domestic leeks

The supply of domestic leeks is still low. And many trading companies have problems with collecting this vegetable. Some of them stopped even the purchase and they withdrew their offer of leeks. At the moment the wholesale price of domestic leeks is 3.00-3.50 PLN (0.78-0.91 euro)/kg. On the market there are a lot of imported leeks. The price of good quality leeks imported from Belgium is relatively high - 5.00-5.50 PLN (1.29-1.42 euro)/kg and one can expect bigger import of Turkish leeks at lower prices.
