Lower supply of early cabbage in the south of Poland

In the south of Poland the effects of flood and heavy rains are still clearly visible. It also concerns the supply of early cabbage. As a result of too much water, many plants are completely damaged and vegetation of other is late. It influences prices of cabbage. On Thursday, June 17 the purchase price of early cabbage in the south of Poland was 1.40 – 1.50 PLN (0.34-0.38 €)/pcs while last week it was 0.80 – 1.00 PLN (0.20-0.24 €)/pcs. Wholesale price of cabbage packed in cardboard boxes was from 2.00 PLN/pcs.
