Moscow: decrease in price of garlic

Last week on the Moscow market one could observe decrease in price of garlic imported from China due to increasing number of deliveries. The price of Chinese garlic had remained at high level - 140-145 rubles (3.50-3.62 euro) per kg for a long time. Last week the price fell to 130-135 rubles (3.25-3.37 euro) per kg and at the end of the week further to 120-125 rubles (3.00-3.12 euro) per kg. Garlic from new crop imported from Egypt cost about 150 rubles (3.75 euro) per kg.
