Moscow: prices of aubergines

In the middle of last week in Moscow one could observe decrease in prices of imported and domestic aubergines due to bigger supply of this vegetable. Prices of Russian eggplant decreased from 58-64 (1.48-1.64 euro) to 48-52 rubles (1.23-1.33-euro)/kg and further to 40-45 rubles (1.02-1.15 euro)/kg at the end of the week. Prices of aubergines imported from Belgium and Holland decreased from 85-90 (2.17-2.30 euro) to 80-85 rubles (2.05-2.17 euro)/kg. However by the end of the week their prices rose again to 100-105 rubles (2.56-2.68 euro)/kg.
