Moscow: prices of domestic vegetables

In Moscow in the first half of the last week one could observe decline in prices for beets from Krasnodar (Russia) from 18-22 rubles (0,47-0,58 euro) to 14-17 rubles (0,37-0,44 euro)/ kg.

In the middle of the week prices of domestic white zucchini (Krasnodar) increased from 12-15 (0,31-0,39 euro) to 18-22 rubles (0,47-0,58 euro)/kg, which is associated with unfavorable conditions in the region - hot weather affects the growth and development of vegetable crops.

For the same reason, one could observe an increase in price of early domestic cabbage. Goods coming from Krasnodar is characterized by poor quality: it has turned yellow due to heat. Prices of cabbage increased from 20-24 rubles (0,52-0,67 euro) up to 25-30 rubles (0,65-0, 78 euro) per kg.
