Mutsu – Japanese variety popular among Polish traders

Apples of Mutsu variety came to Polish orchards straight from Japan. The taste of these apples is similar to Golden Delicious. Apples are large and they look very nice and do not tend to russeting, what is an important advantage. Mutsu is good variety for storing and these apples keep high firmness for a long time.

Mutsu is more and more popular among trade companies, particularly near Grójec They sell apples of this variety to customers from the east.
 
Currently, the price of Mutsu in the area of Grójec and Warka is 1.40 PLN (0.35 €)/kg for apples size 70 + from cold stores.
