New crop parsley also expensive

The supply of parsley in passing season was lower than in previous years. At the moment it is very difficult to buy wholesale quantities of good quality parsley and the price is still growing.

On Tuesday, May 24, the price of good quality, washed parsley was 5.00-6.00 PLN (1.20-1.44 €)/kg and in the centre of Poland the price reached even 7.00 PLN (1.68 €)/kg. The price of new crop parsley is also high and its supply is low so far. On Tuesday, on the local wholesale market its price was 5.00 PLN (1.20 €)/bunch.
