Pears Conference much cheaper than last year

The purchase prices of pears Conference in central Poland are much lower than last year.

In January 2009 the price of Conference, extra class, size 60 + was about 2.50 PLN (0.61 euro)/kg. Currently, the price of this variety ranges from 1.20 to 1.80 PLN (0.29-0.44 euro)kg. This is about 40% less compared with the previous year.
