Peppers: more imported, price of domestic one is going up

Since the season of domestic pepper is ending, companies which so far bought the domestic pepper for supplying retail shops, started selling imported pepper.

However purchase prices of domestic pepper are rising. This week in łódzkie province the purchase price of red pepper was 0.98 euro/kg, while last week price was lower by 0.14 euro. In podkarpackie province the red pepper was purchased at price 0.84 euro/kg by 0,06 euro/kg more than last week. Last year the average purchase price of red pepper was 1.24 euro/kg.
