Poland: bigger consumption of cauliflowers and broccoli

According to data of Polish Central Statistics Office (GUS) total consumption of vegetables (fresh, frozen and canned) in Poland amounted to 61 kg/person in 2008 and was higher by about 1 % than in 2007.
The most increase was noted for cauliflowers and broccoli (13 %). The consumption of tomatoes was higher by 5 %. The consumption of cabbages reduced by 58 % and beets by 4 %. Consumption of cucumbers, carrot and onion didn't change.
