Poland: bigger export of mushrooms to CIS
According to Polish Analytical Centre of Customs Administration (CAAC) from January to March this year the export of fresh mushrooms to countries of CIS amounted to 6.5 thousand t and it was by 63 % and over 70 % bigger than in the corresponding periods in 2008 and 2007 when the export amounted to 4.0 thousand t and 3.8 thousand t respectively.
The biggest export was in March 2009 (2.8 thousand t). The prices of fresh mushrooms exported to CIS was stable at the level of 0.60 euro/kg. However they were lower than in previous years when they were 0.65 euro/kg in 2008 and 0.71 euro/kg in 2007.
