Poland: early carrot already dominates on the market

On the wholesale market there are already very small quantities of carrot of last year’s crop. Early carrot both domestic and imported dominates on the market.

On Monday, June 22 prices of the domestic carrot fluctuated from 1.40 PLN (0.31 euro)/kg to 2 PLN (0.44 euro)/kg. The similar prices were noted for imported carrot - from 1.50 PLN (0.33 euro)/kg to 2 PLN (0.44 euro)/kg.
