Poland: export is doing well

Total value of sold goods came to EUR 714,6 mln towards to EUR 621,8 mln in 2012. Also export of processed fruits was bigger - 828,2 thousand tons towards to 772,5 thousand tons at the cost of 1171,9 mln (EUR).

The volume of exported vegetables increased slightly. In 2013 Poland sold 698,8 thousand tons in comparison to 674,9 thousand tons in 2012 (worth EUR 581,3 mln).

In 2012 Poland exported almost 896 thousand tons of processed vegetables. It was at 30 thousand tons more than in 2012. That export was worth EUR 696,4 mln.

Most popular of exported fruits was apple (1205 thousand tons). Among vegetables wins champignon with volume of 193 thousand tons.

Most of vegetables were exported to EU countries (414,6 thousand tons). Rest was sold to Western Europe (over 277 thousand tons).

Fruits have were exported to the Commonwealth of Independent States - 1130 thousand tons (including 923 thousand tons of apples). 332 thousand tons of fruits were imported by countries from EU.
