Poland: fluctuating prices of carrot

At the end of last week in the centre of Poland the price of carrot increased to 2 PLN (0.44 euro)/kg.

It was a short-lived increase and on Monday, 23 March the prices came back to level of the begging of last week when the maximum price of domestic washed carrot was 1.50 PLN/kg. However the price of carrot can still grow. On the market the supply of carrots is low, both these ones of good quality as well as carrots of worse quality and the demand for washed carrot of good quality is still high.
