Poland: further increase in prices of tomatoes

Prices of tomatoes didn’t stopped at the level 14 - 16 PLN (3.29-3.76 euro)/6kg carton. Prices were increasing until Friday. One can observe a clear decline in the supply of tomatoes. It was not surprising that the prices of tomatoes changed every day.

On Friday, October 2 the price of B tomatoes was 17 PLN (4.00 euro)/box 6 kg and the price of BB tomatoes reached even 21 PLN (4.94 euro)/box 6 kg. It is difficult to predict how the prices of tomatoes will change in the next few days. Much also depends on the prices of imported tomatoes.
