Poland: high prices of cauliflowers

At the moment one can observe the lack of cauliflowers on the market what results in increasing prices. On Monday, July 27 the price of cauliflowers packed into cartons was even 2.60 – 2.80 PLN (0.62-0.67 euro)/pcs.

The low supply of cauliflowers is caused by the end of heavy crop and additionally by adverse weather. The rainfalls contribute to bigger amount of pests which damage cauliflowers.
