Poland: high prices of onion

High demand for onion remains both in mazowieckie and łódzkie provinces and as a result prices are also relatively high.

On Tuesday, November 24 in central part of Poland the price of onion size 40 + was from 0.55 PLN (0.13 euro)/kg and the highest price reached 0.70 PLN (0.17 euro)/kg.

Despite the high prices a lot of onions is still exported to Ukraine.

However, prices of onion is so high that they probably will not grow at least in the near future because it would influence the demand.
