Poland: High volume of raspberries

Quite low prices encourage all to trade in raspberries - individual entrepreneurs. Retail chains import large volume of those fruits. Currently most of raspberries come from Spain, Morocco and Greece.

How much do we have to pay for imported raspberries? Those packed in 250g trays are offered at the price of 40.00 - 50.00 PLN per 4kg carton (10.00 - 12.50 PLN/kg).

Raspberries available in 2 kg boxes from Spain cost 18.00 - 20.00 PLN/ box.

Fruits from Morocco packed in 4kg boxes are available at price of 40.00 - 45.00 PLN/box.

The price of Greek fruits is 32.00 - 35.00 PLN/ 5 kg box.
