Poland import more and more vegetables

According to statistical data Poland import more and more fresh vegetables, especially in the winter and spring periods.

In 2007 the import of the white and red cabbages amounted to 4.4 thousand ton while only in the first half of 2008 import of cabbages amounted to 6.1 thousand Similar situation concerns imported cauliflowers and broccoli. In 2007 import of these vegetables amounted to 10 thousand ton, while only in the first half of this year the volume of imported cauliflowers and broccoli amounted to 11.7 thousand ton.
