Poland: increase in price of greenhouse cucumbers

Expectations of traders were confirmed and the price of greenhouse cucumbers increased at the beginning of this week. On the market one expected such increase already at the end of last week.

On Monday, May 11 the price of long cucumbers was from 2.75 up to 3.60 PLN (0.63-0.82 euro)/kg and the price of short cucumbers was from 3.50 up to 3.80 PLN (0.80-0.87 euro)/kg.
