Poland: lack of plums in big production area (Grójec)

In the big production area of fruit near Grójec, May frost especially affected plum trees. At the moment one can see the results.

While in other areas there are a lot of plums and their prices are from 1.00 PLN (0.24 euro)/kg and reach max. 2.00 PLN (0.48 euro)/kg for most needed varieties, in the are of Grójec there is lack of plums and their prices are higher and reach 3.50 PLN (0.85 euro)/kg.
