Poland: lower import of table grapes in 2008

According to data on foreign trade revealed by Analytical Centre of Customs Administration (CAAC), in 2008 Poland imported 109.7 thousand tons of table grapes at value 118.6 million euro.

It means that volume of imported table grapes was lower by 15 % and its value lower by 12 % than in 2007. In December 2008 the import of table grapes amounted to 5 600 t at value 6.9 million euro and in January and February 2009 the import was adequately 3 600t and 3 500 t and its value 5.3 million euro and 5 million euro.
