Poland: prices of apples

The prices of apples intended for export are stable. In south and south-east of Poland prices of such varieties as Shampion or Rubin, which not well tolerate longer storage, remain at 0.40 - 0.50 PLN (0.10-0.12 euro)/kg (apples size 70 +, without packaging).

In the center of Poland the price of these varieties is 0.50 – 0.60 PLN (0.12-0.14 euro)/kg. The price of Gala is from 0.55 to 0.70 PLN (0.13-0.17 euro)/kg (the price without packaging). On the market one can already find small quantities of Idared (0.40 - 0.50 PLN (0.10-0.12 euro)/ kg) or Golden Delicious (0.90 - 1.00 PLN (0.22-0.24 euro)/kg). However, these varieties are mainly intended for storage.
