Poland: prices of cauliflowers and broccoli started increasing

Although the purchase price of cauliflowers and broccoli are still stable, one can already observe the rise in prices of these vegetables on the local smaller wholesale markets.

The price for producers, depending on the area of Poland, is from 0.70 PLN (0.17 euro)/pcs. to 1.10 PLN (0.26 euro)/pcs. for cauliflower and from 0.80 PLN (0.19 euro)/pcs. to 1.00 PLN (0.24 euro)/pcs. for broccoli. Wholesale prices of these vegetables are also rather stable. However on the local wholesale markets the price of cauliflowers and broccoli started increasing at the beginning of the week. The price of broccoli increased to 1.70 - 2.30 PLN (0.41-0.55 euro)/pcs and price of cauliflowers to 2.50 PLN (0.60 euro)/pcs.
