Poland: purchase of industrial raspberries already started

In Poland the lubelskie province is famous for big production of raspberries. About 80 % of raspberries in Poland are produced in this province.

At the end of last week processing plants in lubelskie province started purchasing of industrial raspberries. The first purchase price in purchasing centers was about 3.80 PLN (0.83 euro)kg and the price of raspberries delivered to the plants was 4.00 - 4.10 PLN (0.88-0.90 euro)/kg. Last year the average price of industrial raspberries was 4.30 PLN (0.94 euro)/kg.
