Poland: Russia wants cheaper apples

On the Russian market there is still high demand for Polish apples. However Russian importers aren't satisfied with increasing prices. One can see it particularly in the case of Golden Delicious and Mutsu, which are considerably more expensive than red varieties.

On Thursday, May 7 in the area of Grójec, the average price of Golden was 2 PLN (0.46 euro)/kg and Mutsu 2.30 PLN (0.53 euro)/kg (size 70+, without the packaging). However one can expect a slight decrease in these prices.
