Poland: supply of last year’s Chinese cabbage will finish in mid of April

There are less and less of Chinese cabbage in cold stores. How we already informed, in mazowieckie province prices of Chinese cabbage are at the level 1.80 – 1.90 PLN (0.40-0.42 euro)/kg for cabbage in cartons.

In other areas of Poland prices can also reach this level but the average price is slightly lower – about 1.60 PLN (0.35 euro)/kg. Traders predict that the supply of last year’s cabbage will finish in mid of April. In April one can expect the first early Chinese cabbage.
