Poland: the lack of domestic carrot

In łódzkie province the supply of carrot is so low that a lot of companies purchasing this vegetable don’t even increase the prices because there is no carrot to purchase.

On Tuesday, 31 March the minimum price of washed carrot was 1.50 PLN (0.32 euro)/kg. In mazowickie province the price of washed carrot of good quality is about 2 PLN (0.43 euro)/kg.
