Poland: the supply of sweet pepper is still stable

Although we already have autumn and the days become shorter and temperatures progressively lower, it didn’t influence the supply of sweet pepper.

On the market there is a big volume of peppers and its prices remain stable. On Monday, September 28 the price of red and orange peppers packed in boxes of 5 kg was from 2.80 to 3.00 PLN (0.66-0.71 euro)/kg. The price of green pepper was 1.40 - 2.20 PLN (0.33-0.52 euro)/kg. Only in małopolskie province one could observe the decrease in the supply of white pepper so called ‘igołomska’. However, on Monday its price remained stable - 1.40 - 1.70 PLN (0.33-0.40 euro)/kg.
