Polish onion already too expensive for Ukrainian importers?

Even last week one could observe big export of Polish onion to Ukraine what resulted in growing prices of this vegetable.

However, the current price of onion (0.45 – 0.50 PLN (0.11-0.12 euro)/kg) caused that demand from Ukrainian importers decreased and Polish onion has to compete with e.g German onion. It can probably influence domestic market and prices may decrease especially in the west of Poland, where the supply of onions was the lowest last week.
