Polish tomatoes on German market

Tomatoes imported from Poland are being sold on markets in Hamburg, Berlin and in Munich. Price of tomatoes in boxes of 6 kg, size 57-67 mm is 0.41-0.58 EUR/kg on these three wholesale markets.

Price of tomatoes size 47-57 mm is 0.33-0.50 EUR/kg in Berlin and 0.58-0.75 EUR/kg in Hamburg. Polish tomatoes are competitive because of their price. Dutch and Belgian tomatoes in 6 kg boxes are more expensive than Polish by 0.5-1 EUR/box.
