Poor demand for radish

Very good weather conditions caused that season for radish got longer than normally. Demand for radish isn't very high but Polish producers are in a better situation than importers.

Poor demand and Polish competition cause that there is no place for imported vegetables. It is difficult because second part of November was a very good time for imported radish.

Year ago in last week of November price of Polish and imported radish was at the level of 20.00 - 24.00 PLN/ 20 bunches. This year prices are much lower. Wholesale price comes to 16.00 PLN/ 20 bunches (Polish and Italian as well). at the local wholesale markets 20 bunches of radish cost from 16.00 to 25.00 PLN.
