Positive balance in vegetables trade

According to data of Analytical Centre of Customs Administration, in June 2008 Poland exported 31.2 thousand ton of fresh vegetables at value 17.6 million EUR.

In this period import of vegetables amounted to 21 thousand ton at value 10.9 million EUR. As regards processed vegetables in June 2008 export amounted to 27.1 thousand ton at value 17.9 million EUR. In the same time import of processed vegetables amounted to 11.4 thousand ton at value 10.1 million euro, so in the trade of processed vegetables the balance was also positive.
