Prices of apples

Prices of apples for processing reached the level of 0.70 PLN (0.177 euro)/kg. Such price was very expected by producers. The lowest price of industrial apples is in wielkopolskie province – 0.45 PLN (0.114 euro)/kg. The highest prices at the level 0.70 PLN/kg are in two big production area near and Grójec and Sandomierz.

On the contrary prices of eating apples are stable. Although the supply of such apples is really low this season and trading companies have problems with collecting bigger lots of apples, prices remained stable because recipients do not want to pay more as prices are much higher than last year.

Purchase prices of apples Shampion, Cortland, Gloster, Ligol, Jonagored are following: 0.80-1.00 PLN (0.20-0.25 euro)/kg for 60+, 1.20-1.40 PLN (0.30-0.35 euro)/kg for 70 + and 1.50-1.60 PLN (0.38-0.40 euro)/kg for 80+.
Prices of Gala and Golden Delicious is from 1.40 PLN (0.35 euro)/kg for 60+ to 1.80 PLN (0.45 euro)/kg for 70 +.
