Prices of apples stopped growing

After a quite considerable rise in prices of apples noted at the beginning of the year, at present one can observe prices stabilization. However fruit growers hope that prices start growing again.

The variety with the highest purchase price is Mutsu. Its price reached 1.30 – 1.40 PLN (0.32-0.35 €)/kg. Prices of Golden Delicious are also high - 1.00 – 1.20 PLN (0.25-0.30 €)/kg.

Prices of red apples as Shampion, Gloster and Jonagold are much lower 0.65 – 0.70 PLN (0.16-0.17 €)/kg and they did not change week-on-week.
