Prices of citruses and bananas on the Warsaw Wholesale market in Bronisze widely differ. They depends on quality of fruit and country of origin.
Price of oranges imported from RSA are from 52 PLN (13.03 euro)/15 kg (0.87 euro/kg) to 70 PLN (17.54 euro)/15 kg (1.17 euro/kg).
Price of lemons imported from Argentina is 70-80 PLN (17.54-20.05 euro)/18 kg (0.97-1.11 euro). Price of lemons from Chile is 75 PLN (18.80 euro)/17 kg (1.10 euro/kg) and price of Turkish lemon is 3.80-4.00 PLN (0.95-1.00 euro)/kg.
Price of bananas imported from Ecuador differ depending on brand. Price of Dole bananas is 55 PLN (13.78 euro)/18 kg, Chiquita bananas – 62 PLN (15.54 euro)/18 kg. Price of bananas of less known brands is around 52 PLN (13.03 euro)/kg.
