Prices of courgettes and aubergines are increasing

On Tuesday, September 2nd the lowest price of courgettes packed in cardboard boxes of 5 kg was 0.48 EUR/kg and the highest price was even more than 0.59 EUR/kg. It is quite big increase in comparison with prices of last week.

Price increase is caused by the end of harvest of courgettes of early planting and on the other hand by cold nights delaying vegetation. Courgettes of summer planting started appearing on the market but their prices will be higher. Situation on the market of aubergines is similar. On Tuesday price of aubergines was 0.62 EUR/kg.
